Group
lessons: Supergroups, limited to three students, are for skiers
and snowboarders of all ability levels. A full-day program for beginners
costs C$210; intermediates and higher levels pay C$249 (lift ticket
and rentals extra). Half-day lessons are available. Wednesday and
Friday ski sessions include video analysis.
Summit
Sessions, for intermediates and better, focus on snow conditions
and terrain of the day, such as bumps, powder and steeps. Cost is
C$89 for a half day, C$99 for a full day. Snowboarders take a full-day
program for C$99.
First-timer package: The ski program is a full-day class
using special Rossignol short skis; cost includes lesson, rentals
and lift ticket. One day costs C$143, three days, C$349. Snowboarding
lessons for adult beginners use specially designed Burton boards
and cost C$143 for one day and C$359 for three days; includes lessons,
lift ticket and rentals.Rentals are also available online at rentskis.com. where you can pre-order and have equipment waiting for you when you arrive.
Private
lessons: Skiers and snowboarders pay C$399 for a half day in
the morning and C$299 for a half day in the afternoon; C$579 for
a full day.
Special programs: Single-day and multiday camps aim at women,
skiers and riders wanting to reach a higher level, backcountry,
racing, parks and pipes and other topics. Visit the resort's website

Racing: Whistler Mountain offers a free drop-in race course
at the Pontiac Race Center under the Emerald Express chairlift
