Getting there
By
air: Calgary Airport is served by major airlines. Rocky Mountain Sky Shuttle (888-762-8754; 403-762-5200), Brewster Transportation (403-762-6767) Greyline Transportation (403-762-9102) and Banff Airporter (403-762-3330) will get you from the airport to Banff.

By car: Banff is 85
miles west of Calgary on the Trans-Canada Highway, a 90-minute drive.
Ski Banff@Norquay is on Norquay Road, one exit past Banff.
The Sunshine Village exit is 5 miles west of Banff; its 5
more miles to the gondola base parking area. Free shuttles pick
up skiers at 11 Banff hotels and the bus depot. Check the website for updates on pic-up sites, schedules and fares.
Getting around: It is possible to ski Banff and Lake Louise
without a rental car by using free shuttlebuses offered with the
Tri-Area Lift Ticket to the ski areas. The Happy Bus takes you within
the town and region (noon to midnight only between Oct. 1 and April
30, C$2 a ride). Taxis are available too, but that can add up quickly.
For spectacular sightseeing and exploring, its best to have
a car.
