Getting there

By air: Kamloops Airport is the nearest airport. For shuttle service from the Kamloops Airport to Sun Peaks, call (250) 319-3539. Horizon Air starts its third season of service between Seattle and Kamloops in mid-December and runs through early April. Visit their website for details. www.horizonair.com.

By car: Sun Peaks is a 45-minute drive from Kamloops. From Kelowna it's 2.5 hours, from Vancouver it's 4 hours, from Seattle it's 5.5 hours, and from Banff it's 6 hours.

Getting around: You don't need a car if you plan to spend all your time at the resort. Regular shuttles (Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays; 800-244-8424) provide transportation to and from Whistler. Shuttles also connect with the Kelowna Airport as well as other BC Ski Country resorts (800-807-3257).
