Group lessons: The ski school uses the Perfect Turn® program, which has 10 levels of clinics. For lower-intermediates and above, ages 15 and older, the clinics normally last 90 minutes with a maximum of 11 clients. Enrollees watch a short video that demonstrates various ability levels. This eliminates the “ski-off,” which can take up 40 minutes of a two-hour lesson. Clinics meet twice daily and cost $30. Two clinics the same day cost $45.

First-timer package: Perfect Turn clinics for ski or snowboard first-timers to beginners are 2 to 2.5 hours for day 1, 90 minutes each for day 2 and 3. Reservations are requested. The $80 Level 1 package includes the clinic, equipment, and a lift ticket for learning lifts. The resort guarantees Level 1 skiers that they will be able to ride a lift, turn and stop by the end of the clinic, or they can repeat it free or get their money back. Levels 2–3 cost $85 per clinic; a 2-day package is $130, a 3-day is $180.

Private lessons: $115 for 90 minutes, plus $50 each additional person; two hours $140 plus $100; three hours, $210 plus $150, with discounts for multiple hours.

Special programs: The Women’s Turn program offers three-day programs with at least five instruction hours on the snow and after-ski activities. The cost is $325, which includes clinics, video analysis, equipment demos, lunch and apres-ski seminars. Reservations required.
