SolVista
Basin caters to families and is well suited for them, with ski-in/ski-out
condos, gentle terrain, one central base lodge and many off-slope
activities (be aware that they do not have child care).
SolVista's ski area is made up of two
mountains that merge at the base. East Mountain has terrain
for beginners and intermediates. West Mountain's terrain focuses
solely on intermediate and advanced skiers and riders. Some trails on West Mountain are labeled blue-black, a
place for intermediates to head when they're ready for that next challenge.
Bear Bahn Park is a separate learn-to-ski park. Since initiating its direct-to-parallel teaching system, SolVista has become known as a great place to learn to ski and ride. All lifts radiate
from a central base lodge making it ideal for families and groups
who want to ski together. Groups can rent all of SolVista for private night-skiing
parties. The resort also has 25 km. of groomed Nordic track adjacent
to the base lodge.
Here's a trail
