Child
care: Ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. Children are separated into
three age groups. Cost is $72 per day. The
Treasures Child Care Center just puts this resort at the top of
the child-care world. The state-of-the-art facility, fully licensed
by the state of Vermont, is staffed by 20 professionals. Reservations
are required; make them when you book your vacation. Given 24 hours
notice and a $4 finders fee, Treasures also will arrange for an evening babysitter (cost $10/hour + $1/hour for each additional child, paid to the sitter).
Little Rascals on Snow, a skiing program for 2-1/2 to 3 year olds, is run from Treasures. Ski time, quiet time, and play time are combined for a low pressure introduction to skiing and winter fun. The daily fee is $109.

Children's
lessons: Kids
and teens are divided into four age groups: 35 (45 for
snowboarding), 610, 1115 and 1617. The teen programs
allow kids to meet new friends with whom they can hang out at the
supervised evening teen activities.
Full-day programs (9 a.m.4 p.m. daily except Thursday, 9 a.m.2:30
p.m.) can be purchased separately, for $99 per child per day, or
can be included in one of several ski and lodging packages for considerably
less. Programs include ski or boarding lessons, outdoor games, science
discovery, hot lunch and indoor entertainment in the afternoon.
Several 1.5-hour lesson programs are offered at $39 for kids ages 6-17 who dont
want a full-day program.

SMUGGLERS' CHILDREN'S SKI AND SNOWBOARD SCHOOL INFORMATION
Special
programs: Mom & Me/Dad & Me program teaches parents
how to teach their youngsters to ski or board for $70 per parent/child
session. Scouts Honored allows scouts to earn snow sport merit badges.
Other special programs include terrain park tactics, recreational
racing and Night School for Boarding.
Special activities: Three
nights a week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday), Treasures hosts
Kids Night Out, with dinner and activities for ages 311,
at $25 per child, so Mom and Dad can have some fun on their own.
Given 24 hours notice and a $4 finders fee, Treasures will also arrange for a babysitter
to come to your lodging.
