Saddleback, Maine

Mountain Layout—Snowboarding

If you’re not a bona fide beginner, avoid the beginner terrain below the base lodge, or expect to boot out and hoof it a bit. The Dazzler trail, off the Kennebago T-bar, is a long, sometimes uphill traverse to reach the Muleskinner trail.

Parks and pipes

The Freerider Terrain Park, with half pipe, on the Wheeler Slope in front of the base lodge at mountain’s base, is geared to lower intermediates. Easiest access is via the Sandy Double Chair. There’s a simple terrain garden on Tight Line, off the Kennebago T-bar. Saddleback’s management hopes to add a more challenging terrain park on the upper mountain, but there are plenty of terrain features on the au natural trails.
