Winter Park — Children’s programs


Ages 3-4: “Just Because I’m Me” is a full-day introductory program for children who are toilet trained and don’t take naps, and who are skiing at Level 3 or below. Includes lunch for $149, or $169 with rentals). MAX4 Half-Day PM Lift/Lesson (11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., semi-private group lesson for up to 4 persons) includes full-day lift ticket; lunch not included; costs $149, or $169 with rentals. Reservations for add-on private lessons are strongly recommended, especially on weekends.

Ages 4-6 (skiers and snowboarders): Full-Day Lesson/Lift/Lunch or MAX4 Half-Day PM Lift/Lesson is $149, or $169 with rentals. 

Ages 7-14 (skiers and snowboarders): Full-Day Lesson/Lift/Lunch -or- MAX4 Half-Day PM Lift/Lesson is $149, or $169 with rentals.

NOTE: Every child in Ski & Ride School will be equipped with a trackable Flaik GPS unit.


Child Care is available daily from 8 am – 4 pm during the ski season for ages 2 months to 6 years. Child Care is located in the Kids’ Ski and Ride School (level 2) at the base of Winter Park.

Cost: Half-day $95, full day $129, three full days $387.

Reservations are required. Book online or call 800.420.8093 at least 48 hours in advance. Reserve early, as Winter Park sometimes hits capacity in its child care program.

Cancellations outside of 24 hours will incur a $25 per day charge. Please bring your child’s immunization records, or fax them to 970.726.1560, on or before your first day of child care.

Multi-day programs are available. Complimentary use of a beeper/pager is included.

Note: Winter Park has always been a leader in creative children’s ski programs. Its multi-story Kids Adventure Junction handles more than 600 children on some days and does it very well.
