Valle Nevado — Lodging

All hotel accommodations come with breakfast, dinner, lift tickets, and use of all resort amenities. Rates are dependent on the time of season. Reservations for high season should be made months in advance, and low season reservations at least a month in advance. Each hotel has a number of different options from a double room to 6-person suites. All rates are per person.

The Hotel Valle Nevado ($$$$) straddles the ridge that separates the two valleys of Valle Nevado. This ski-in ski-out hotel is the plush spot on the mountain with private balconies and newly remodeled rooms.

Perched on a mountainside, Hotel Puerta del Sol ($$$$) is a less expensive alternative, but not by much. The rooms have a basic hotel room layout, but each room has unbelievable views. Some of the rooms have private balconies. Some renovations are underway during the 2007 season.

The least expensive option is the Tres Puntas Hotel ($$$). This hotel is usually occupied by serious riders and skiers who are there for the mountain. Once the lift ticket and meals are included, the price at Tres Puntas is very reasonable.

Condominiums are also available and can sleep up to 6 people. Prices are from $2,800 to $6,400 a week. With a large group this may be a better option. However, lift tickets and meals are not included.
