Canyons — Lessons


These are regular season prices. Peak prices are a bit more.


Learn to Ski and Burton Learn to Ride (ages 13+, first-timers): 3 full days of lessons (2 hours in the morning, 2.5 hours in the afternoon, with a 1-hour lunch break), beginner-specific rentals and lift tickets included. $369.

Beginner to Novice Group Lesson (ages 13+, levels 1-4) Ski & Snowboard (full-day with break for lunch, or half-day afternoon; rentals and lift ticket not included): Full day $199, half-day $99.

Beginner to Novice Ultimate 4 (ages 13+, levels 1-4) Ski & Snowboard (full-day lesson with lunch; rentals and lift ticket not included): With lift ticket & rentals $271; with lift ticket $249; lesson only $234.

Teen Adventure (age 13-17) Ski & Snowboard (ages 13-17, all levels): Full-day lesson with a break for lunch, rental and lift ticket not included. With lift ticket $199. Lesson only $184.

Intermediate and Advanced Mountain Experience (ages 13+, levels 5-9): Full-day lesson with a break for lunch, small group (usually fewer than 4 participants), rental, lift ticket and lunch not included. $184.


Private Lessons can be one-on-one or can accommodate multiple students, but it’s recommended that everyone be of a similar ability level and age. Lift ticket and rental are not included in lesson cost. Full day (up to 5 people) $825. Half day (up to 3 people) $499.

First Tracks (ages 13+; ski and snowboard; high intermediate to advanced level only): Be among the first to make tracks on the slopes of Canyons on Tuesdays and Saturdays with a resort insider and an Olympic skier! You’ll get to be the first on the lifts and the first to make tracks. After the 1.5 to 2-hour lesson, breakfast at Red Pine Lodge will be waiting (and is included with your First Tracks ticket). $79.

Holly Flanders’ Women’s Clinic (women ages 18+; a three-day program with U.S. Olympian Holly Flanders) is offered several times during the season. $699.

Steep Skiing Camp (ages 18+; ski only, intermediate to advanced levels only, 3 days): Led by World Extreme Skiing Champion Brant Moles, focuses on getting you to ski steeper, more technical, terrain safely and confidently.
