Child
care: The resort does not provide child-care services. The Park
City Chamber of Commerce can refer visitors to child-care facilities
or babysitting services. Call (800) 453-1360 or (435)
649-6100. The "angels" of Guardian Angel Babysitting
Service (783-2662) guard in-room, plus rent baby gear and shop
for your groceries. The Clubhouse at 780 Main Street offers drop-in childcare from the age of 3 months to 12 years (also in-room babysitting services). rents and will deliver baby needs to your lodge, such as cribs, strollers,
car seats and toys.
Childrens lessons: Prices are for regular season, which covers most of the season; prices during value season are lower. Ages 614, $189 for a full day including lift ticket and lunch. The Kid’s Signature 5 Program guarantees there will be no more than 5 students per instructor. Snowboard lessons start at age 7. A parks and pipes program is available for advanced snowboarders for the same cost. Children ages 35 have a program that includes lesson, lift ticket, rentals, lunch and indoor activities for $145 (three kids per instructor). Discounts for multiday lessons are available.
A one-hour ski-only private lesson costs $120 and is available on the hour.
First-timers must take the
Children's Learn to Ski/Snowboard Preferred Experience, a full-day
group lesson that costs $175 with lift ticket and rental of specially
designed gear to help them learn. This class is limited to five
students and success is guaranteed; if your child isn't riding the
chair and turning on the beginner runs by the end of the day, another
lesson is free.
