In Ski Tip Lodge, the Mountain Adventure Centre (342-6941 ext. 3440) is a complete information and booking service for activities and events, including hot springs tours, dinner shuttle to Invermere restaurants, day trips to Lake Louise, Kimberley and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, games arcade, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, massage therapist and more.

Adjacent to the ski area is R.K. Heli-Ski Panorama Inc. (342-3889 or 1-800-661-6060), offering one-day heli-skiing packages from around C$600. The company has 2,000 square kilometers of runs that include glaciers and glades, all between 5,500 and 11,000 feet of elevation.

Toby Creek Adventures (342-5047 or 888-357-4449; above) offers guided snowmobile tours specializing in hourly and multiday guided tours in the Columbia Valley between Fairmont Hot Springs and Radium Hot Springs.

The nearby town of Invermere on the Lake has shopping and working art studios including the Panorama Cabin and the Bavin Glassworks (341-6853) which inlcude a selection of glass-blown pieces and beaded art works. Schedule beadworking classes by reservation. Taxi and shuttle service are available.
