Columbine Inn (801-745-3772 x 146; $$; left) has affordable rooms ranging from basic double rooms with pull-out couch to three-BR condos with fireplaces right at the base area.
PowMow Condos (801-458-9112),Powder Ridge Condos and Sundown Condos (801- 745-3722) have condominiums at the base area as well.

Red Moose Inn (866-996-6673; $$; right) combines motel convenience, hotel-style amenities and B&B atmosphere. Built in the grand lodge style, even standard rooms are spacious. Most rooms have minimal cooking facilities, but some have full kitchenettes. A light continental breakfast is served. On site is small spa, with a treatment room. Also available are an outdoor hot tub and free Internet access.

Moose Hollow Condominiums (800-958-1311; left) on the road to Powder Mountain and under the same ownership as Red Moose Lodge, are new and upscale, ranging in size from two to five bedrooms. All have free, high-speed Internet, sat TV, gas fireplace and a washer/dryer. Theres also an outdoor hot tub.
Lakeside Village (866-745-3194; below), on the shores of Pineview Reservoir, is the collection of condominiums most convenient to Snowbasin that provide real luxury in the Upper Valley. Most units hav e large whirlpool tubs in the master bath and a large outdoor hot tub on the deck. All have extremely well-equipped kitchens (right down to coffee grinders) and washer/dryers; most have fireplaces, and many have garages. Note: Not all units have phone service. Two lines for high-speed Internet access are available in the registration area.
Snowberry Inn (745-2634 or 801-745-2634; $$) is a comfy B&B just 15 minutes from either Snowbasin or Powder Mountain. All rooms (some are pretty small) have private baths; best value is the family suite with kitchen. A full breakfast and afternoon refreshments are included, and theres a billiards table, darts, TV and outdoor hot tub.
Jackson Fork Inn (800-609-9466 or 745-0051; $-$$), in Huntsville, has seven knotty pine 2-story suites built into a converted dairy barn and has a complimentary continental breakfast.
All rooms at the riverside Alaskan Inn ( 801-621-8600 or 621-8600; $$$-$$$$), comprising a lodge and cabin colony, have an Arctic theme. Rates include a full breakfast, delivered to the room or cabin.

Marriott Ogden (888-825-3163; 627-1190; $$; left) 292 rooms in the middle of the action in downtown Ogden on 24th Street, with high-speed internet access, pool and fitness center. It's the only full service hotel in the area with a restaurant and private club for apres-ski.
Hampton Inn & Suites (800-486-7866 or 394-9400) is built in an historic building in the center of Odgen. Free high-speed internet and local phone calls, plus a hot tub and fitness room.
Best Western High Country Inn (800-594-8979 or 394-9474; right) sits at Exit 347 off I-15 at 12th Street. It's only 35 minutes to the SLC airport and also to the ski areas. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Their restaurant, Jeremiahs, is considered one of the best places for breakfast in Ogden with wonderful pancakes and cinnamon rolls.

Comfort Suites (800-462-9925 or 621-2545; left)off 21st Street is a well appointed place with 142 rooms with an indoor pool and hot tub. It is within 30 minutes of the airport and the major ski areas.
