Mt. Baker grooms a short Nordic trail loop to the north and west of the main upper parking lot. Elevation is about 4,000 feet and the trail is gentle. There is a nominal charge. The road ends at the ski area, so touring opportunities are all down-mountain on logging roads. The ski area rental shop has Redfeather snowshoes for "deep stuff" days.
