The Mount Snow Valley is reportedly the busiest area for snowmobiling in Vermont. Try High Country Snowmobile Tours (800-627-7533; 464-2108) that operates from the base of Mount Snow, Wheeler Farm snowmobile tours (464-5225) in Wilmington and Stizmark (464-3384). High Country has a supervised snocross course called, Ski Doo Mini Z, for kids ages 6–10.

The Adams Family Farm (464-3762), 4 miles south on Higley Hill Rd. (off Rte. 100), has an indoor petting farm where kids help milk goats and find eggs to take home for breakfast. Sleigh rides are available. Open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Mount Snow runs a lift-served tubing hill at Carinthia open during the daytime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekends. Rates are $20 per two-hour session or $8 for a single ride.

A movie theater, in the Mountain Park Plaza on Rt. 100 in West Dover, shows first-run movies. The Grand Summit Resort Hotel now has a spa offering massage therapy, facials and body treatments. Reservations are required; call 464-6606.

Wilmington Village has boutiques, galleries highlighting local and national artists and intriguing shops.
