Apres-Ski / Nightlife
The Snow Barn features live music most weekends, sometimes with up-and-coming national acts. It has a separate area for pool and other games, with a central stone fireplace and a pizza window. Both Snow Barn on the hill and Deegan's Den on Rt. 100 usually have cover charges.
Apres-ski
at Cuzzin's is a wild affair where live music gets folk up and
dancing. The line is long, but the fun is worth it.
Walts Pub, at the Snow Lake Lodge, has a quiet, family-style atmosphere with “unplugged” music on Saturday nights. There is also live jazz at Harriman's Restaurant in the Mt. Snow Grand Summit Hotel on Fridays and Saturdays. The Midstation Bar has acoustic music.
One
of the most popular nightspots,The Silo, is actually in a
converted grain silo (in the Silo Family Restaurant on Rt. 100).
It caters to a young crowd and has practically a monopoly on nightlife
for the snowboarding set. Locals head to the Silo every evening
for 10-cent wings from 46 p.m. Downstairs is a smoke-filled
cigar bar for aficionados. The Dover Bar & Grille, across
Rte. 100 from The Silo, is another local hangout. Billiard Sanctuary
is also a very popular haunt, with billiard tables and a great bar.
