By air: The closest airports are in Albany, N.Y. and Hartford’s (Ct.) Bradley International, both less than a two-hour drive.

By car: Mount Snow is the closest major Vermont ski resort to New York and Boston. It is on Rte. 100, just 9 miles north of Wilmington.

By Train: Train service is available via The Amtrak Vermonter to Brattleboro, Vermont, and the new Ethan Allen Express to Rensselaer/Albany.

By Bus:
Adventure Northeast Bus Service

Vermont Transit (802)-254-6066 and Greyhound (800)-231-2222 service to Brattleboro. Round-trip shuttles to Mount Snow are available on request.

*Group and individual bus transportation are available from many major markets. Please call Mount Snow Group Services at 800-451-4443 or email group_services@mountsnow.com.

Getting around: A car isn’t necessary, but is convenient, especially at night. During the day, take shuttle buses to and from the lifts; at night, take the MOOver, a free shuttle that serves much of the Mount Snow Valley from the resort down into Wilmington. It runs late on weekends. You can’t miss it: The buses are painted like Holstein cows.
