Sleigh rides and skijoring (496-7141) can be arranged at the Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm in Waitsfield. (Skijoring here involves being pulled behind a horse while on skis.) Also offering sleigh rides is the Mountain Valley Farm (496-9255). There's ice skating at the Mad River Skatium, next to Shaw's Supermarket in Waitsfield.

Eclipse Theater (496-7787) has first-run movies and live concerts, plus something at the concession stand most movie theaters don't offer, beer and wine.

The Sugarbush Health & Racquet Club and the Bridges Resort and Racquet Club have various sports and exercise facilities.

The Alta Day Spa (496-2582) is an Aveda concept day spa in Warren, provides massages, exfoliations, wraps, masques and facials. Signature treatment is the Dead Sea Full-Body Masque, $110 for 1.5 hours. Massage rates begin at $65 for one hour; stone massage is $115 for 1.5 hours. Salon services, manicures and pedicures also are available. Mad River Massage (496-5638) on Rte. 100 just south of the intersection with Rte. 17, in Waitsfield, offers nine different 60-minute massages, including relaxation, shiatsu, reflexology, sea salt and Reiki, at $55–$65.

Waitsfield and Warren have art galleries, country stores and antique and collectible shops that are fun for browsing and buying. Most shops in tiny Warren Village are within easy walking-distance of each other.
