Loon Mountain Resort, New Hampshire

Apres-Ski / Nightlife

After skiing at Loon, head to the Black Diamond Bar in the Mountain Club for good weekend entertainment and a quiet apres-ski spot. The Paul Bunyan Lounge at the Octagon base has a young, rowdy crowd and really rocks. Or head to Babe’s at the Governor Adams Lodge.

Off mountain, near Loon, those with romance on their minds should head to the fireplace at the Common Man. Otherwise, Gordi’s Fish and Steak in Lincoln has great munchies, and across the street, CJ's Penalty Box Sports Bar and Pub, in the basement of the Kancamagus Motor Lodge, is usually hopping. Down Main Street, towards I-93, the Olde Timbermill in the Millfront Marketplace has good singles action, with bands on weekends.

From Wednesday through Sunday, live bands rock the Indian Head Resort in Lincoln. The Tavern Sports Bar is a low-key darts, video game and pool hall. Locals set up party camp at Truant’s Tavern and the Woodstock Station.
