Child care: Loon has a spacious Children’s Center near the Governor Adams Lodge. Child care is available for ages 6 weeks to 8 years. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. midweek. A half day costs $50 midweek and $55 weekends/holidays; a full day is $60 midweek and $65 weekends/holidays. Reservations are required; call (603) 745-8111.

Children’s lessons: All-day programs including lift ticket, lesson and lunch for ages 3–6 and 7–12 cost $89 midweek and $94 weekend/holidays; half day (no lunch) costs $69 midweek and $74 weekend/holidays. Packages that include rentals are available. All children’s lessons are run out of the Children’s Center, which also houses a rental shop. Special activities: The Kids Night Out program lets parents enjoy a night on the town. Bring kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years to the Loon Children’s Center for a supervised evening of games, snowtubing, ice skating and other activities. The cost is $35 for the first child, and $19 for each additional sibling. The program operates every Saturday evening, beginning after Christmas, from 5:30–9 p.m., as well as nightly during the Christmas and February vacation weeks.
