
Lessons (2006/07 prices)
Book lessons online in advance and save. These links go to the Killington Ski School pages, where lessons can be booked. Lesson prices vary from a high rate for booking at the resort, to a 48-hour in-advance rate, to a 7-day in-advance rate.
Group lessons: Killington uses the innovative teaching program called Perfect Turn®. Perfect Turn has 10 levels. For lower-intermediates and higher, the two-hour clinics are offered at 9:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. and cost from $47 for one lesson, $43 if booked 7 days in advance.
First-timer package: The Learn-to-Ski Center at Snowshed offers single- and multiday programs. A three-hour lesson with ticket and rentals costs $89 $80. Five days cost $454 $409.
Private lessons: A one-hour clinic is $100 for one person, $170 for two people. A two-hour lesson is $170 for one person, $290 for up to five people. Three- and six-hour clinics also are available for $240 and $426, respectively, for one person; $410 (3-hour) and $594 (6-hour) for up to five people. An Early Bird special 1.5-hour lesson is $95 for one and $155 for two.
Special programs: Too many to list here. Among the topics are moguls, women's instruction, racing, adaptive instruction for the disabled and even instruction for instructors.
