In those cases Targhee's lodging-lift packages are the most economical and practical. On all Targhee lodging packages, children ages 14 and younger stay and ski free, one child per paying adult. Note: A full day of snowcat skiing, including lunch, snacks and beverages served in a Snowcat Skiing souvenir mug, costs $299; a half day is $225. Here's a great deal: Book a three-day or longer package stay from opening (mid-November) through Dec. 24, 2006, and get a free day of snowcat skiing; on a seven-day package, you'll get two days on the cat free.
