Lodging

The small village sleeps about 450 people at two hotel-type lodges and a 32-unit, multi-story condo building. All are within an easy walk to lifts and base facilities. Most units come packaged with lift tickets, but you can rent rooms and condos without buying lift tickets (though we have no idea why you'd want to). Try to stay at Targhee Lodge, Teewinot Lodge or the Sioux Lodge Apartments. Kids 14 and younger are always free on lodging packages.

Packages that include ski tickets and two group lessons are offered for seven nights and six days, five nights and four days, and three nights and three days. Value Season brings significant savings. If you book a package from opening day to mid-December, not only will you save on your lodging, tickets and lessons, you'll also get the free snowcat skiing described in the Lift Ticket section (conditions permitting).
