We
provide regular-season rates; holiday rates are higher.
Group lessons: $45
for a 2.5-hour morning lesson. Afternoon sessions are offered at
select times.
First-timer package:
First-time skiers and snowboarders get a full-day group lesson,
beginner lift ticket and rentals for $104. The resort guarantees
you'll be able to ski or snowboard from the top of the mountain
after two lessons or the next lesson is free. Reservations recommended.
Snowboarders also can join
the Burton Learn to Ride Program, an all-day lesson with lift ticket
and rentals for $104.
Private lessons: $169
for two hours; $249 for three hours; $419 for a full day. A Family
& Friends Private for up to four people costs $219 for two hours;
$299 for three hours; $499 for a full day. Reservations recommended;

Special programs:
The resort offers clinics for snowboarding, racing, telemark skiing
and mogul techniques. Call ahead for details, or check with the
Resort Concierge desk. Clinics and daily events are announced on
the daily snow report and posted with the list of groomed trails
throughout the resort and on shuttles.
The Adaptive Sports Association
(970-385-2175, Nov.April) runs one of the nation's leading
adaptive skiing programs here. Programs include lift ticket, adaptive
equipment and lessons for the visually, physically or mentally impaired.
Racing: NASTAR racing
occurs daily next to the Paradise Freestyle Arena. Skiers can also
opt for self-timed racing for $1 per run.
