Child care: Cranmore’s Penguin Park Day Care provides age-appropriate care for children ages 3 months to 6 years. There are indoor and outdoor creative play areas and nap areas. The cost is $35 for a half day, $65 for a full day or $12 per hour. Introductory ski and snowplay programs are available. Reservations are recommended, call (800) 786-6754, Ext. 8541 or 8542.

Children’s lessons: Intro to Ski, a 60-minute lesson for 3-year-olds, costs $65, including equipment and lift ticket. There is no Intro to Snowboard.

Penguin Camp, for ages 4–7, is a full-day ski program including lift ticket, lesson and equipment for $89; half day, $79. The Intro to Snowboarding course for ages 5-7 group costs $65 for an hour including equipment and lifts.

Adventure Camp for skiers and snowboarders ages 8–14 includes lift ticket, lesson and equipment. A full day is $89, with lunch; half day is $79.

Private instruction for children is $85 for 90 minutes; $150 for three hours; lift ticket and equipment required.
