With no restaurants nearby, Cannon is not exactly bustling with apres-ski activities, but on cold days and immediately after skiing, The Lift Pub in the Peabody Base Lodge at the mountain is usually quite busy. The bar at the Cannon Mountain View Inn gets a lot of action and while down the road in Franconia, the Village House is a comfortable lounge with a lot of classic ski history and an evening entertainer. Or head back down I-93 and catch up with Loon skiers partying at Woodstock Station or the Indian Head Resort, where there are live bands Wednesday through Sunday.
