Dining in the region is excellent and eclectic. Those looking for a quaint and romantic atmosphere can find it, and those searching for family bargains will not be disappointed either.

For high end dining, The Marsh Tavern at the Equinox(802-362-4700) and the Reluctant Panther,(802-362-2568 )both in Manchester Center are solid choices.

Closer to the mountain, The Perfect Wife (802-362-2817)offers both an after ski pub and a restaurant; Mistrals (802-362-1779)has been a fine dining favorite for years, the Sirloin Saloon (802-362-2600) )in town is a reliable favorite of the beef and salad bar set, and Ye Old Tavern on Rt 7a( 802-362-0611) is a good sit-down spot.

Jake’s Cafe (824-6614; $) serves pizzas and sandwiches. Johnny Seesaw’s (824-5533; photo above), just down the road from Bromley, serves enormous portions and is a perfect family spot.
