The Brighton Lodge (800-873-5512; 532-4731; $$–$$$) is small, cozy, has a hot tub and is at the base of the lifts. Continental breakfast is included. Kids 10 and younger stay and ski/ride free (limit two per adult). Mt. Majestic Properties (888-236-0667) rents a tremendous selection of cabins and chalets right on the Brighton Circle with the easiest access to the resort. Silver Fork Lodge (888-649-9551; 533-9977; $$-$$$) just down the road is a peaceful, rustic mountain retreat. There's a sauna, weight room, ping pong and foosball table and a common room with a TV.

You also may want to consider lodging at nearby Solitude Mountain Resort or in Salt Lake City.
