Bretton Woods and the Mount Washington Hotel is not known for wild nightlife and apres-ski, still there’s enough to keep most guests happy. You can dance to a dinner orchestra or head down into the stone depths of the Mount Washington Hotel to the Cave Lounge that dates to prohibition days.

Skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers all congregate together at the hotel bars and lounges— Stickney's, Rosebrook Lounge, Princess Lounge or The Conservatory—immediately after the lifts close and the sun begins to set. The crowd at the base of the mountain in the post-and-beam base lodge is always lots of fun, as is the crowd at the Nordic Cafe.
