Getting there

By air: Breckenridge is about 100 miles west of Denver International Airport. Colorado Mountain Express (800-525-6363) offers regular van shuttles connecting the resort with the airport, as does Lift Ticket Limo (866-488-5280; 668-4899).For personalized private charter limos, vans and suburbans, make reservations with VailCoach (877 554-7433).

By car: From Denver, take I-70 to Exit 203, then south on Hwy. 9.

Getting around: Nearly everything is within walking distance and free buses cruise the streets regularly. The Breckenridge Free Ride provides bus service throughout Breckenridge and some outlying areas. The Summit Stage provides free transportation between Dillon, Silverthorne, Keystone, Frisco, Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. Call 668-0999 for route information. Keystone and Breckenridge also operate a free inter-resort shuttle, the Ski KAB Express (496-4200), at varying times according to demand. Vail Resorts Express (453-5000) shuttles daily between Breck and Vail.
