Getting there
By
air: Kelowna International Airport is about an hour's drive
from Big White and less than an hour's flight from
Vancouver, Calgary or Seattle. Non-stop flights from Toronto are
available. U.S. Customs is at the Kelowna Airport.
Big
White's airport shuttles serve the ski areas; seats
must be reserved 72 hours in advance. For Big White Central Reservations,
call (800) 663-2772. Big White has a Budget rental agency on the mountain.
One-way rentals to and from the airport can be booked through Big
White Central Reservations.
By
car: Big White is in the heart of the Okanagan
Valley. Big White is 35 miles southeast of Kelowna, about 4.5 to 5.5 hours from Vancouver and Spokane,
and six to seven hours from Seattle.
Getting
around: No car is needed at Big White unless you plan to explore. If you plan to ski at both Big White and nearby Silver Star, inter-resort shuttles provide transfers between the two areas so you can ski for a day or split your stay between the resorts.
