Apres-Ski / Nightlife
The
hub of night activity is the Mountain Village. Happy hour kicks
off in Chet's Bar in the Huntley Lodge, with the Crazy Austrian
show—just go see it. Chet's also has poker games which are legal in Montana.
The Carabiner in the Summit is a wonderful place to relax
with a drink in oversized chairs. Mellow live entertainment provides
background music. If you have the chance to hear Michael Haring
on the acoustic guitar, also check out his wonderful
wildlife photography and bring something home as a memento.
Black
Bear Bar & Grill and Dante's Inferno both rock hard
and long. Other
places to check out in the Mountain Village are Alpine Lounge,
where the locals get wild, and Bambu Bar, where the 20-somethings
gravitate for drinks. In
the Meadow Village, it's quieter, but Allgoods Bar & Grill
is likely to attract crowds at night. Allgoods also has a pool table,
darts and poker.
In the canyon, check out the Buck's T-4 game room, with pool tables, foosball and video games. Locals like the Corral and the Half Moon Saloon, with darts and pool. Both are roadhouse-style Western bars.
Check Big Sky's local newspaper, The Lone Peak Lookout, which has entertainment listings. |
