Casino
Apache at The Inn of the Mountain Gods has that age-old American
pastime, gambling. You'll find blackjack tables, roulette wheels
and slot machines. (Even though the Inn is closed for rebuilding,
the casino is still open.) Casino Apache Travel Center,
a sister casino, is designed as a travel center with all the amenities
on Hwy. 70 just west of Ruidoso. Billy the Kid Casino is
next door to the race track and has hundreds of slots, a grand
bar and big buffet dinners.

Ruidoso
is a great nightlife town. The Western flavor is strong and can't
be beat at W.P.S. (Win, Place and Show), where you can dance
the two-step and drink beer into the wee hours. This place is a
blast. Across the street
from W.P.S. is Quarters, a rock'n'roll and blues bar. Top
up-and-coming Southwestern talent plays here. It's a world of difference
from W.P.S.
