- Adult Child (8-13) Who skis free: Children 7 and younger when skiing with a ticketed adult.

Who skis at a discount: Students with ID (14–17) and seniors (60–69) pay $36 for one day. Ages 70 and older pay $10for one day. Adult guests of the Alyeska Prince Hotel pay $44 per day for all lifts and all hours. A family of four skis for $134 per day.

Note: Keep in mind that Alaskan winter days are shorter than they are farther south. The lifts don't start running until mid-morning at 10:30 a.m., but the "ski day" ends at 5:30 p.m. (Daylight lingers for about 90 minutes after the sun sets in early February, and you can see very well.) Night skiing on 27 trails covering 2,000 vertical feet runs Fridays and Saturdays 4:30–9:30 p.m. mid-December through mid-March: Adults cost $22; children and seniors, $16; students, $21.
